Lake Champlain is known for great fishing, particularly along the rocky shores and Island ledges. The depth of water in the nearby "big lake" drops off to deeper than 350 feet, so there's plenty of chances to land that prize catch.
When your mood calls for a walk in the woods, stroll leisurely through the miles of paths and walkways that wind throughout the island. Make sure you leave time to catch a sunset or two from the century-old Victorian gazebo.
